Review of the Cloud Nine Series of Golf Clubs from GigaGolf

presented by Shopperosity.com

The GigaGolf C9 Series Golf Clubs Are a Great Value

GigaGolf has a history of offering quality custom-fit golf clubs at discount prices. The new Cloud Nine (C9) series of clubs they have just come out with may be some of the nicest clubs they have ever offered. The new C9 series features high quality materials and the latest technology and will allow you to hit the ball long and straight and have a lot more fun on the golf course. Although the C9's cost slightly more than GigaGolf’s other models, the C9 series uses the same materials and design technology as nationally advertised tour player brands costing 4 times as much. That means you'll get great performance from the C9 series while saving a bundle of money (more money to play more golf!)

Cloud Nine Irons

The C9 irons are the most advanced iron design GigaGolf has sold to date. These super game improvement irons feature a 6-4 Titanium face insert. This technology has several design advantages for cavity backed irons. First, it allows most of the clubhead mass to be concentrated around the perimeter of the iron head creating a larger sweet spot for more forgiveness. Second, Ti faces can be made thinner than stainless steel which maximizes COR or ball velocity. A 20 gram tungsten insert was added to the toe to balance the iron head and lower the center of gravity. This creates higher, straighter golf shots. This is a high-tech iron at a fraction of the cost you'd expect to pay.

Cloud Nine Hybrid Clubs

The Cloud Nine Hybrids have the hottest technology that GigaGolf sells. The C9 475 Hybrids feature a Carpenter 475 super steel face combined with a 17-4 stainless steel body. Combined with a tungsten sole plate this club delivers unparalleled performance and quality. GigaGolf says that C475 steel produces the hottest, longest hitting clubhead faces they have tested. The tungsten sole plate creates a very low center of gravity for higher, softer landing shots. If you haven't tried a hybrid yet, they are way easier to hit than long irons (2, 3 or 4 iron) and even most pros are starting to replace their long irons with hybrids. The benefit to you is that you can hit the ball a long way with plenty of control and they fly higher than comparable irons, so they stop more quickly on the green. Hybrids are hot for a good reason, and these are some of the hottest hybrids you will find.

Cloud Nine Fairway Woods

The C9 c455 Metal woods bring high technology to fairway metals. The ball literally explodes off the c455 forged variable face thickness design. Carpenter Technology Corporation, the world renowned steel manufacturer patented its proprietary c455 stainless alloy to be strong and durable. This allows the face to be forged thinner that traditional stainless metals, the result is more ball velocity and longer golf shots. The 3 woods have a slightly larger head than standard which makes it a good choice from the tee on tight holes. The traditional set-up shape and larger head size gives you tremendous confidence when faced with any long shot from the fairway.

Cloud Nine Variable Face Thickness Composite Ti Driver

On the surface, the C9 VFT Composite Ti driver doesn't look all that special. But the understated design conceals core technologies that make the C9 VFT Composite Ti driver an exciting new introduction to the GigaGolf line of game improvement drivers. A variable thickness face (VFT) is milled to expand the sweet spot making this an excellent choice for the player that does not have time to practice often. Beta 5-3-3-3 Ti is cut from the crown and filled with an advanced carbon fiber that allows weight to be redistributed to the sole creating a trajectory that optimizes spin rates on today's high performance balls. The titanium crown structure gives added support and reduces distance loss due to crown deflection. The titanium support also creates a solid impact sound that is sometime missing from other composite crown drivers. Sound is important and the C9 Ti sounds solid and not tinny like many of the newer composite crown drivers.
